Again, it is New Year's Eve...
One year ago tonight, I started this little project. And here I am...in front of the computer...with a wet head from a much needed shower...listening to the buzz of Delaney's monitor...while Clay lounges on the couch. Only this year Emme has been granted the glory of staying up past her bed time to hang out with her daddy on his last night of "vacation".
The past year has been full of many, many changes and challenges - yada, yada, yada. I'm not even going to go there. In a nutshell, 2012 was pretty darn awesome for our little family of four. We're here. We're living & loving. And, of course, finding new ways to drive each other mad.
There were so many ideas I had for this one year post. But now, sitting here with the smooth plastic keys at my fingertips, the answer is simple. I started this project for my girls. So, girls, this evening your dad & I raise a frosty beer mug to you and thank you for keeping life unpredictable enough. Cheers!
